NONAME STUDIO 托斯卡纳驻留项目 位于意大利托斯卡纳 Rufina 的历史庄园 Villa Poggio Reale,距离佛罗伦萨仅约30分钟车程。驻留项目坐落于葡萄园、橄榄树林与托斯卡纳自然景观之间,为艺术家提供专注研究、实验创作与艺术发展的理想环境。

驻留开始时,艺术家将介绍自己的创作实践;驻留结束后,将根据项目发展情况,以 Villa Poggio Reale Open Studio 或 佛罗伦萨合作画廊及文化机构展览 的形式展示创作成果。
驻留团队将提供策展指导、项目协调及专业支持,同时鼓励艺术家独立创作,并深入体验托斯卡纳独特的文化与自然环境。
驻留结束后,艺术家需带走所有个人物品及作品,除非双方另有约定。
The NONAME STUDIO Tuscany Residency is an international artist residency based at the historic Villa Poggio Realein Rufina, Tuscany, just outside Florence. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and the cultural landscape of Tuscany, the residency offers artists dedicated time and space for research, experimentation, and creative development.
The program welcomes emerging and established artists working across all contemporary visual arts and interdisciplinary practices.
Residencies are flexible and typically last 1, 3, or 6 months, with dates arranged individually according to each artist’s project and availability. Artists are invited to introduce their practice at the beginning of the residency and conclude their stay with either an Open Studio at Villa Poggio Reale or an exhibition in one of our partner galleries or cultural institutions in Florence, depending on the project and curatorial direction.
The residency team provides curatorial guidance, logistical support, and professional mentoring while encouraging artists to work independently and fully engage with the unique cultural and natural environment of Tuscany.
At the end of the residency, artists are expected to collect all personal belongings and artworks unless other arrangements have been made with the residency team.

NONAME STUDIO Tuscany Residency 将为艺术家提供 Villa Poggio Reale 的住宿、专属工作室、策展支持、项目推广,以及最终 Open Studio 或展览的组织。艺术家需自行承担往返交通费用(包括机票及签证,如适用)、项目所需的特殊材料,以及驻留期间的个人生活开支。驻留期间,艺术家可使用宽敞的共享意大利厨房,自行烹饪,并可在周边农场、葡萄园及当地集市购买新鲜时令食材,亲身体验托斯卡纳独特的生活方式、美食文化与自然环境。驻留结束后,艺术家将根据项目发展及策展规划,以 Villa Poggio Reale Open Studio 或 佛罗伦萨合作画廊及文化机构展览 的形式展示创作成果。其他个人费用(如旅行保险、私人交通及个人旅行等)需由艺术家自行承担。
We provide accommodation at Villa Poggio Reale as part of the NONAME STUDIO Tuscany Residency, together with dedicated studio spaces, curatorial support, promotion, and the organization of the final Open Studio or exhibition.
Participants are responsible for their travel expenses (including flights and visas, where applicable), project-specific materials, and personal expenses during the residency.
Artists have access to a spacious shared Italian kitchen, where they can prepare meals using fresh seasonal ingredients from local farms and markets while experiencing the authentic lifestyle, cuisine, and culture of Tuscany.
The residency concludes with either an Open Studio at Villa Poggio Reale or an exhibition at one of our partner galleries or cultural institutions in Florence, depending on the artist’s project and curatorial direction.
Any additional personal expenses (such as travel insurance, private transportation, or independent travel) are the responsibility of the participant.

As part of the residency, each artist is invited to donate one artwork created during the program to the NONAME STUDIO Tuscany Residency Collection. This growing collection documents the history of the residency and may be featured in future exhibitions, publications, and cultural initiatives.
All other artworks remain the full property of the artist. Selected works may also be considered for future exhibitions, acquisitions, or collaborations with our partner galleries, museums, and cultural institutions in Italy, always in agreement with the artist.
The residency does not retain ownership or claim any rights over artworks beyond the donated piece, unless otherwise agreed with the artist.

The residency is open to emerging and established artists from around the world working across contemporary visual arts and interdisciplinary practices, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, installation, textile art, new media, performance, sound, writing, and research-based artistic practices.
We welcome artists whose work engages with contemporary culture, experimentation, and dialogue across disciplines.

The residency takes place at Villa Poggio Reale in Rufina, Tuscany, just 30 minutes from Florence. Surrounded by vineyards and cypress-lined hills, the historic villa dates back centuries and once hosted Grand Duke Leopold II of Tuscany, offering artists a unique setting where history, nature, and contemporary creativity come together.

Yes. To ensure a smooth and comfortable experience, Chinese artists will be supported by a dedicated Chinese-speaking Residency Assistant, available throughout the residency to assist with communication, daily life, logistics, and practical needs.

A small application fee of $25 is required to apply for the residency.
The application fee is non-refundable. It supports the review and selection process, and ensures your profile is included in NoName Studio’s artist database for potential future collaborations with institutions, museums, and international brands.
Even if you are not selected for this residency, your portfolio and proposal will remain in our database and may be considered for future projects, exhibitions, and curated opportunities in China and internationally.
